While Inter Miami’s owner makes a discreet Harry Maguire gesture, David Beckham displays class.

According to rumours, under-fire Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has David Beckham’s secret support. Maguire has had a challenging start to the season after Erik ten Hag relieved him of his captaincy of the Red Devils as a result of his lackluster performance the previous year.

While Inter Miami’s owner makes a discreet Harry Maguire gesture, David Beckham displays class.

Additionally, he was dropped from the starting lineup, and this season, he has only served as a substitute once for United.

Despite getting little playing time, Gareth Southgate chose him for England’s matches against Scotland and Ukraine in the EURO 2024 qualifying round. However, he scored an awful own goal at Hampden Park, adding extra stress to his already heavy load.

Following the event, Magquire’s mother used social media to lambast the supporters who had abused her son on the internet.

Former United icon Beckham, who turned became public enemy No. 1 after he got himself sent off against Argentina during the 1998 World Cup Round of 16 in France, is one former player who has experienced the fury of enraged England fans.

And now, according to The Sun, the owner of Inter Miami has gotten in touch with Maguire, providing him with some much-needed support during a trying time for the 30-year-old. Becks instructed Harry to keep his head up, a source informed the media site. He has experienced being a target.

“He made it through it, and he believes Harry will too. For Harry, receiving a note from Becks meant the world.

Maquire has received harsh, widespread criticism on social media, and in April of last year, she apparently received a bomb threat.

Southgate, the manager of the Three Lions, defended his player vehemently and called him a “tower of strength” following the match against Scotland. He further asserted that he has “never known a player to be treated the way he is”

“As a mum, seeing the level of negative and abusive comments that my son is receiving from some fans, pundits, and the media is disgraceful and totally unacceptable to any walk of life, much less someone who works his socks off for club and country,” wrote Maguire’s mother, Zoe Maguire, on Instagram.

“I was there in the stand as usual; what’s been generated over nothing is unacceptable. I am aware that there are highs and lows, as well as pros and downsides, in the world of sports, but what Harry receives goes much beyond “football.”
