Update on injuries: Bayern Munich

The Allianz Arena will play host to our first Group A opponents at 20:00 BST, and they have welcomed back Kingsley Coman after the France international missed Friday’s Bundesliga tie with Bayer Leverkusen owing to a muscular problem.

Against his previous team Paris Saint-Germain, the highly regarded winger scored the game’s lone goal in the Champions League final of the 2019–20 season.

After being sidelined since July due to injury, Raphael Guerreiro has also been photographed working with his teammates once more.

The Borussia Dortmund-bound Portuguese international arrived in the summer but has yet to play for his new team due to calf issues.

It’s unclear at this time whether the versatile 29-year-old’s game on Wednesday comes too soon.

Joshua Kimmich was replaced against Bayer Leverkusen as a precaution, according to Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel, while highly regarded goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is recovering from a fractured leg.

Joshua has an irritated tendon, and Tuchel stated that they didn’t want to take any chances with him. We removed him from the game in the 60th minute because “the medical team clearly stated he could only play 60 minutes.”

However, Tuchel will not be on the sidelines in Bavaria because he is suspended for the match. Zsolt Low and Anthony Barry, two assistant coaches, will be watching from the sidelines during the match.
