“We want to immediately place a marker and score three points. We have an edge over our group’s strongest opponents because we are starting at home at the Allianz Arena. We hope to continue our recent trend of being very convincing in the Champions League group stage, Gnabry told FCBayern.com. “Up front, United has a lot of talent, a lot of pace, and outstanding individual players. They also have a couple midfielders with significant Premier League background. We shouldn’t undervalue them at all, and we don’t. We must exert our utmost effort.

Gnabry experienced what it was like to play Manchester United both during his time in England and earlier in his time with Bayern Munich. He mostly remembers his time in England as an Arsenal FC player with nostalgia.

They are pleasant recollections. I hadn’t even turned 18 yet. It was a unique experience to compete against Manchester United at Old Trafford with all the stars. I entered the game at the end and I still recall, among other things, a duel with Ryan Giggs,” Gnabry remarked.
