Mbappe took the opportunity and scored without error, scoring his 41st career Champions League goal past a diving Kobel.

Less than ten minutes later, Hakimi increased PSG’s lead by cutting into the penalty area, gliding past his defender, and putting the ball beyond Kobel.

Substitute While Jamie Bynoe-Gittens’ bending attempt missed the inside of the post, it did beat Donnarumma after a deft one-two outside the penalty area.

From that point on, PSG offset Dortmund’s attempts by playing out the clock to start Group F with a well-earned victory.
