Luke Shaw’s health is still a concern for Manchester United ahead of their trip to Nottingham Forest today.
Manchester United’s XI for the upcoming match against Nottingham Forest has been confirmed, along with their predicted lineup and latest injury information.
Erik ten Hag did not reveal any additional information about Shaw during his pre-match press conference on Friday, other than to state, “It will be a similar squad as we had against [Aston] Villa.” The left-back missed the thrilling victory against Aston Villa due to a muscular injury.
Diogo Dalot, who has had difficulty filling in, could continue at left back if Shaw is sidelined once more. Another possibility is Sergio Reguilon, however it’s uncertain how long his loan will last.
Due to a muscular injury, Sofyan Amrabat is also doubtful, and Anthony Martial is not available due to illness. Given that Christian Eriksen and Kobbie Mainoo both had moments of difficulty against Villa, Scott McTominay is anticipated to make a comeback in midfield against Forest.
Alejandro Garnacho, the two-goal hero, will continue in his position, while Marcus Rashford looked much better on the other wing in the most recent outing. Now that he has finally scored a goal, Rasmus Hojlund will look to gain momentum.
