Liverpool sinks Fulham at Anfield with a stunning late comeback.

After early goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alexis Mac Allister, it appeared as though Liverpool would win easily. But careless playmaking from Fulham’s defence allowed them to draw even and then grab the lead through goals from Kenny Tete and Harry Wilson.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid, a Fulham substitute, attempted to give the visitors the victory in the 80th minute despite Liverpool’s best efforts to equalise. But just seven minutes later, Liverpool’s comeback was ignited by substitute Wataru Endo. Then, in the 89th minute, Alexander-Arnold scored his second goal to give Liverpool the lead.

Despite winning, Liverpool wasted strong moments and gave Fulham three infrequent away goals due to careless play. The unnecessary late drama to defeat a team in the second half of the EPL rankings would irritate manager Jurgen Klopp.

Bernd Leno, the goalie for Fulham, suffered an injury early in the game and had to play for almost a full hour while wearing bandages following a collision. However, Liverpool did not put him to the test until the last moments of the match.
