Jurgen Klopp claims his squad scored “four worldies” as Liverpool defeats Fulham 4-3.

“I don’t think I ever saw a game with this amount of beautiful goals.”

That is what Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said to Sky Sports following his team’s exciting 4-3 victory over Fulham, which saw them win their own Goal of the Month award with four incredible goals.

Trent Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring for Liverpool with a wonderful free kick that smacked into the net off the crossbar and Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Then, Alexis Mac Allister fired a powerful long-range shot into the upper corner. In the 87th minute, Wataru Endo curled in a fantastic equalizer as Liverpool trailed 3-2.

A few moments later, Alexander-Arnold finished the list of spectacular goals with a clinical finish in front of an enthusiastic Anfield crowd.

Klopp said, “Today we scored four worldies and were lucky in the end to win the game, and that tells you everything,” on BBC Match of the Day.

“Four goals I have never seen before in one game like this to be honest.”

Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham, was equally baffled.

He said, “It was great, great goals every time,” to BBC Match of the Day. “That doesn’t usually occur. They scored four outstanding long-range goals.”

Marco, turn away now. Here are the players’ and commentators’ responses to Liverpool’s goals.

“One of the most impressive free kicks of the season”

Liverpool 1-0 Fulham; 20 minutes; Bernd Leno, own goal

With a fantastic free kick that curled over the wall, dropped just in time to clip the crossbar, bounce down, and strike Leno on its way to the net, Alexander-Arnold gave Liverpool the lead.

“I’ll claim it even though technically I haven’t scored two,” he said to BBC Match of the Day. “When a free kick sneaks in through the cracks, it’s fantastic. A beautiful hit, if I may say so myself.”

Former Liverpool full-back Stephen Warnock referred to Liverpool’s opening goal as “one of the best free-kicks you’ll see this season” even if it turned out to be an own goal by Leno.

Alexander-Arnold struck again, he declared on BBC Radio 5 Live.

“We called him out for his technical prowess prior to kickoff, and he has demonstrated it once more now. This man is a superb athlete.”

“I’m thinking, Don’t hit it—I was wrong,” as it appears

Fulham 2-1 Liverpool – Alexis Mac Allister, 38 minutes.

Although all four of Liverpool’s goals were excellent, their second was maybe the best.

After completing a £35 million transfer from Brighton June to the Reds, midfielder Mac Allister at last scored his first goal.

And he did it with great force, launching a loose ball from around 35 yards out into the upper corner.

Alexander-Arnold remarked, “I thought that was the goal of the game when I scored the free-kick.” “But then 20 minutes later Mac Allister goes and scores that outstanding strike.”

“As it pops up, I’m thinking, ‘Don’t hit it!'” Warnock continued. I was in error. Two of the Premier League’s greatest goals so far this year.”

“A truly valuable and unforgettable one.”

Wataru Endo’s Liverpool 3-3 Fulham, 87 minutes.

Fulham managed to stay in the game and take a 3-2 lead through Bobby De Cordova-Reid in the 80th minute, despite Liverpool’s excellent first-half scores.

The visitors appeared set to break the Reds’ 13-month winning streak at Anfield in the Premier League with three minutes and stoppage time left.

That was until Mohamed Salah’s layoff was exploited by substitute Endo, who curled a lovely shot into the top corner.

“What about this finish from Endo?” Guy Mowbray, a broadcaster on BBC Match of the Day, erupted in applause after the Japan midfielder’s goal found the net.

“It’s hard to forget his Premier League debut goal. And one that is incredibly valuable for Liverpool.”

“A game you will always remember in your life”

Fulham 4-3 Liverpool – Trent Alexander-Arnold, 88 minutes

Liverpool has gained 15 points this season in the Premier League from losing situations, more than any other team.

Two minutes from time, Alexander-Arnold used his knee to control a lofted clearing and smash a shot into the bottom corner to seal the comeback.

His goal maintained Liverpool’s unbeaten home record this season and capped off an outstanding solo effort. It was composed in the midst of a wild finale.

Additionally, the Reds reduced Arsenal’s advantage in the Premier League to two points.

“An outstanding experience for everyone who was here,” Klopp stated. “I doubt that anyone could have predicted before the match that Liverpool vs. Fulham would be a match you will always remember.”

“But you’re welcome.”
