Graeme Souness uses a two-word reaction to silence Simon Jordan’s questions about Jurgen Klopp.

With a succinct two-word reply to the former Crystal Palace owner, Liverpool icon Graeme Souness calmly ended Simon Jordan’s criticism of Jurgen Klopp’s top managerial standing.

Graeme Souness responded to Simon Jordan’s inquiry about Jurgen Klopp’s status as an elite manager with simply two words.

The manager of Liverpool, who will lead his final match as manager on Sunday, May 19, against Wolves, has become a legend at Anfield. Among other accolades, he guided the team to its sixth Champions League trophy in 2019 and its first Premier League victory in 2020.

Since his time at Borussia Dortmund, the German manager has been considered as one of the finest in the world. And without a doubt, he has established himself as one of the finest Premier League managers ever.

In the course of a football-related conversation on elite managers on William Hill’s “Three Up Front” podcast, which included Troy Deeney, Graeme Souness, and Simon Jordan, the former owner of Crystal Palace expressed his views on the subject of elite management and criticized Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for not winning any awards.

Jordan asserted, “Alonso changed the rules because normally you need a bit of stability and need time and I think that’s a crock of s*** by the way, the only stability you get is how well you do the job and how you’re showing people that your progressing.” “He’s won nothing outside of an FA Cup, yet you think he’s an elite manager,” Jordan said.

“So what does Klopp look like then when we talk about elite management, does he appear like an elite manager?” he asked Souness, focusing his attention on the player. The former Liverpool manager responded, “By what standards?” and said, “I have been with Jordan.”

“He comes into a league where they have spent a fraction of the team to catch,” Souness remarked. “At the same time, Manchester United and Chelsea have spent twice as much.”
