After receiving advise from Cody Gakpo, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp made a “nightmare” demand.

Liverpool will host Fulham on Sunday in their return to Premier League play after defeating LASK 4–0 on Thursday in the Europa League.

After drawing 1-1 with the defending champions Manchester City last weekend, the Reds are now in third place in the league, just two points behind Arsenal at the top. This season, Liverpool has only suffered one league loss—a contentious 2-1 setback to Tottenham in September.

And Fulham defeated Wolves 3-2 on Monday, their first league win in three games, will be a team that Jurgen Klopp’s team is eager to win all three points against. In light of that, the most recent Anfield news is listed here.

Klopp demands a “nightmare”

Before Fulham’s Sunday trip to Anfield, Klopp has pushed his players to keep turning their home field into a “nightmare” for other sides.

“Being our home, it has to be a challenging place to visit,” Klopp remarked to the media. “I told the boys before LASK, for instance, that I believe every player dreams of playing at Anfield if they are not playing for Liverpool and are instead playing in a different nation. Then you see the group.

However, that must be a nightmare, and that is what we aim to achieve. While it didn’t always work out, it really does make a big difference when our people are doing it. We were always incredibly well-coordinated, even in scenarios where we had to give on the pitch and the audience was present.

Mario Balotelli, a former striker for Liverpool, stated that Brendan Rodgers was the “worst coach I have ever had” and a “disaster”..

After Luis Suarez left Liverpool for Barcelona in 2014, Rodgers signed Balotelli to play for Liverpool, but the signing did not work out. The Italy international returned to AC Milan on loan the next year after managing just four goals in all competitions, and he signed a free move to Nice in 2016.

“Brendan Rodgers is the worst coach I have ever had,” Balotelli said TVPlay, looking back on his time at Anfield. When it came to maintaining ball possession and playing small-sided games during training, he was the best. However, he was a mess in person.”
