Ian Wright claims he felt ‘very sorry’ at the news that Jurgen Klopp will stand down as manager and responded to accusations that he is a closet Liverpool fan.

There have been rumors that the 60-year-old favors Liverpool because the Arsenal legend has shown his respect for the Reds and their successful management.

“It was a sad day, I was quite sad,” he continued. People refer to me as a “closet Liverpool fan,” and if shock and grief qualify as a closet fandom, then I certainly qualify as I found the news to be incredibly depressing.
