A Liverpool player reveals the REAL conversation between Darwin Nunez and Pep Guardiola.

The things that were stated during Darwin Nunez’s altercation with Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, last week have been made public by Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool.

At the Etihad Stadium, City was held to a 1-1 draw in a hotly contested match between two title contenders. Trent Alexander-Arnold’s late equalizer negated Erling Haaland’s goal, but it was the altercation between Nunez and Guardiola at full time that left everyone talking.

Tension ran high throughout, almost boiling over at the end given what was at risk. Nunez and Guardiola appeared to be having a furious argument, but Reds manager Jurgen Klopp intervened to stop it from getting worse.

What exactly set off the flashpoint caused a great deal of misunderstanding among fans and commentators alike, but Mac Allister has finally clarified the situation. “After the game, I think Jurgen didn’t comprehend anything I said. He asked me what I was saying, but I didn’t say anything. The Argentine informed Clank! that it was something quite simple.

“It was nothing, because as Jurgen mentioned, Pep and Darwin are two really emotional individuals. Darwin answered to a comment made by Pep, but it wasn’t very extraordinary. And for that reason, I was also chuckling. I would obviously not laugh that way if I realized how serious it was. However, nothing had me laughing quite as much as Darwin’s lightning-fast anger.

“Aside from that, Pep first believed he was acting funny, that Darwin was unavoidably on his side. That had changed his features slightly at that point. The entire event was a little humorous, but those are the kinds of things that never really go away.

.. Nothing was wrong at the time, and I believe they both have a great deal of regard for one another.”

Haaland nearly gave City the win in the last seconds of the match when his header zipped past the Liverpool goalkeeper. Guardiola remarked that the Reds were “lucky” to escape with a point, according to Mac Allister.

“After that, it’s the final play of the game. Lucho Diaz tries to head the ball into the middle, but they save it,” he continued. Darwin then says to Guardiola, “Ah, you are the ones who are lucky now.” Everything went to s*** after that. But there was a great deal of calm. Nothing major.”
